Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Washington Regional, seeks a Speech Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing skills in a supportive inpatient setting.

You will evaluate, design, and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a compassionate team dedicated to patient recovery and quality of life. State licensure, CCC, and CPR are required, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree with field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
