Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Washington Regional, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based communication therapy across our patient population in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating and developing personalized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes. A state license, CCC certification, and CPR are required or obtained soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC certification (SLP-CCC)
