Job summary

UVA Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, documenting progress and adjusting plans as patient recovery evolves.

Minimum licensure and CCC certification are required; CPR is needed within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with field experience, to support high-quality patient care and collaborative team work.

• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
