Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to support patients with speech and language rehabilitation. You will evaluate, plan and administer individualized therapy, assess progress and adjust plans as necessary, and document outcomes in a collaborative inpatient setting.

Needed are state licensure, CCC credentialing, and CPR (within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree considered with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (speech-language pathology) required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed to support progress.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and support functional communication goals.
