Job summary

Encompass Health invites you to join our team as a Speech Pathologist in Texas on a PRN basis, delivering compassionate care with cutting-edge therapy tools. You will evaluate, treat, and document patients with speech and language challenges, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a leading national inpatient rehabilitation provider.

Current licensure or CCC, CPR, and a Master's degree are preferred; we welcome applicants with a BA/BSc plus relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed or in process.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
