Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and document patient progress in a caring inpatient setting. The role involves developing personalized plans and adjusting therapy to improve communication for individuals recovering from illness or injury.

Requirements include current state licensure in Speech Therapy, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in Speech Therapy
• CCC Certification completed or in progress
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment
• Celebrating patient victories along the way
