Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs, using state-of-the-art therapy tools in a welcoming, community-focused setting.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant field experience. We offer strong benefits and opportunities within a national post-acute care leader.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
