Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist in Lakeland, TN to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs within a leading inpatient setting.

You will develop and administer personalized plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires current state licensure, CCC certification, CPR, and a master's degree (or equivalent experience). Join us and contribute to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC certification (ASHA)

CPR certification
