Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs at our inpatient rehabilitation network. You'll design individual therapy plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore communication abilities and quality of life.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure, CCC, CPR (or obtainable within 30 days), and a Master's degree (or Bachelor's with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (ASHA) certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
