Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop and administer personalized therapy plans, monitor progress, and adjust treatment as needed in a supportive inpatient setting.

Current state licensure and CCC (ASHA) are required; CPR must be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

State licensure in Speech Therapy

ASHA CCC (CCC-SLP)

CPR certification
