Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Virginia seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language challenges. You will develop personalized therapy plans and document progress to guide ongoing care.

The role requires CCC certification, state licensure, CPR or have it within 30 days, and a master’s degree is preferred or a bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) completed or in progress.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Celebrate patient victories and monitor outcomes.
