Job summary

Aversa Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and provide treatment in the home setting. The role involves selecting, administering, and interpreting diagnostic assessments to determine intervention needs across speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia.

You will develop individualized plans, coordinate with rehab and nursing teams, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Required: ASHA CCC-SLP or active supervised fellowship and certification within 1 year of employment.
• Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in SD or state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients through formal/informal assessments to determine intervention needs.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans for speech-language pathology.
• Provides direct therapy in the home setting and coordinates with rehab, medical, and nursing teams.
• Documents evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports.
• Maintains age-appropriate care from infant to geriatric as per guidelines.
