Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation in a hospital setting. You will evaluate and develop individualized therapy plans and track patient progress within a supportive, tech-enabled environment.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR (or within 30 days). Master’s degree preferred or a BA with relevant experience, offering opportunities for growth and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (ASHA) for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
