Job summary

Encompass Health in Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, assess, and treat patients with speech and language needs, developing personalized plans and documenting progress to support meaningful improvements.

This role requires state licensure, CCC, and CPR (within 30 days of hire). A master’s degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
