Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation in a leading national inpatient setting. You will assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans and track patient progress with a focus on improving communication abilities.

The role requires current licensure and CCC certification, with CPR to be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
