Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders at our hospital. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress in a collaborative inpatient setting.

The role requires current licensure as an SLP, CCC certification, and CPR certification (or within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with related field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC Certification is required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
