Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. We are committed to early intervention, integrated autism care, and evidence-based practices tailored to meet each child and family.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in children with ASD, design treatment plans for ages 2–6, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as an SLP in Arizona or Colorado as applicable.
• 3+ years of experience preferred; open to new grads.
• Experience with AAC or willingness to learn.
• Ability to connect with young children through play.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
• Design and implement treatment plans to improve communication for ages 2–6.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
• Engage families, providing education and support to enhance their child's communication development.
• Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
