Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD, aged 2-6, using a range of therapeutic strategies.

You will collaborate with behavior analysts, OTs, and psychologists, engage families, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to achieve meaningful communication gains.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology in AZ or CO.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred, open to new SLPs.
  • Experience with AAC is desirable.
  • Playful and able to engage with young children.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
  • Design and implement treatment plans for children aged 2-6.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of behavior analysts, OTs, and psychologists.
  • Engage families with education, resources, and support to enhance communication development.
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes.
