Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team. You will assess speech, language, and swallowing, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families on therapy goals.

You will document progress, collaborate with care teams, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes within an acute rehabilitation setting. A current SLP license, ASHA certification, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.
