Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Gilbert seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess speech, language and swallowing, and to implement individualized treatment plans within a collaborative rehab team. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP license with ASHA certification, and CPR certification; experience in acute or rehab settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.
