Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Red Wing, MN is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to evaluate and treat across the lifespan. You will address speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Eligible candidates hold an accredited SLP program, pass the national exam, and have or are eligible for Minnesota licensure.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited speech language pathology educational program and passed approved national examination.
• Clinical Certificate of Competency.
• Current Minnesota License to practice Speech Language Pathology or eligible for a Minnesota License.
• Current BLS certification or completion within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to travel between sites as needed.
• If required to provide therapy services in another state, will be required to have a current license to practice Speech Language Pathology in that state.

Responsibilities

Speech-language pathologists (SLP’s) are professionals who hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). SLP’s engage in professional practice in the areas of communication and swallowing across the life span. Communication includes speech production and fluency, language, cognition, voice, resonance, and hearing. Swallowing includes all aspects of swallowing, including related feeding behaviors

Weekdays. This SLP position is based in Red Wing, MN, with opportunities to support patients across the surrounding region. The role will primarily support Red Wing and may include services in Lake City and Cannon Falls, as well as opportunities to provide virtual care.
