Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a licensed clinical social worker to provide psychological services within a multidisciplinary neuropsychology team. You will perform evaluations, psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and health-behavior interventions, contributing to HABIT for patients with mild cognitive impairment and related neurological conditions.

This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package, with schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 80 hours per pay period, and

Responsibilities

Provides specific psychological services, including evaluation and assessment, individual and group psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, health and behavior intervention, and other psychological services to a variety of neurological populations. The primary focus is the evidenced based HABIT Healthy Action to Benefit Independence and Thinking Program ® for patients living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (typically early neurodegenerative disease) and a loved-one partner. In addition, this position will involve psychotherapy with adults with a range of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, or functional neurologic disorder. Strong clinical experience and proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy approaches and interventions are required for this position. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary HABIT team which includes a Neuropsychologist Director, HABIT coordinator, other Master’s level providers, and yoga therapist as well as the broader Neuropsychology division in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work and licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.

Experience working with patients with neurodegenerative diseases and other neurologic disorders preferred. Strong collaboration skills and teamwork are needed as an important member of this multidisciplinary team.
