Youth Villages in Tennessee currently seeks a Speech/Language Therapist to support children with communication disorders within our residential and school-affiliated programs. You will screen, assess, and plan IEP-driven therapy to improve language, articulation, and voice, collaborating with parents and educators to track progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Active SLP license in the applicable state required.

Responsabilités

• Screens students to identify those with a speech/language disorder.
• Develops IEPs with long-term goals and short-term objectives.
• Designs treatment strategies to meet IEP goals.
• Conducts speech/language therapy services (group or individual).
• Incorporates classroom information to stimulate communication skills.
• Maintains confidential records of activities and generates progress reports.
• Explains assessment findings to parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Participates in professional development activities.
