Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Therapy in Beachwood, OH seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to help children with autism improve communication in a collaborative ABA setting.

You will assess, plan, and provide 10-15 hours/week of in-person therapy, coordinating with Behavior Analysts and families to maximize outcomes. The role emphasizes family-centered care, evidence-based practices, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio SLP license.
• Active license with the Ohio Department of Education, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with toddlers and autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and methodologies a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments for children with ASD and related developmental disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with the ABA team.
• Provide speech therapy sessions to children, including one-on-one and small group sessions.
• Work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs.
• Provide parent and caregiver training to enhance communication strategies at home.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing input and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis.
