Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Experience with children in educational or therapeutic settings desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in delivering direct therapy to students.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support communication goals.
• Provide support during therapy sessions and communicate with parents as directed.
