Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), part of FullBloom, is hiring a School Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders.

Under supervision of a licensed SLP, the SLPA delivers therapy, maintains records, collaborates with teachers and families, and helps implement evidence-based strategies in inclusive settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Experience with children in educational/therapeutic settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and documentation following school policies.
• Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and related service providers to support goals.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about therapy sessions and progress.
