Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist to support evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders in K-12 settings.

Under supervision of a licensed SLP, you will deliver evidence-based therapy, document progress, collaborate with teachers and families, and help maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field.
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Previous experience with children in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and observations, following confidentiality and school policies.
• Work collaboratively with the SLP, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support students’ communication goals.
• Help organize and maintain therapy materials, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate scheduling of therapy sessions.
