Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a weekend Speech Language Pathology (SLP) position to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Our team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym, with opportunities to impact residents’ lives through expert evaluation and treatment planning.

We offer mentorship and clinical support for all therapists, weekly paychecks, flexible schedules, and access to advanced technology.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
• Current New York State SLP License

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to a team effort.
