Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Gloversville, NY. The role involves evaluating residents, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and documenting progress in a rehab setting.

We offer mentorship, clinical support, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling with evening and weekend hours. NY licensure is required, and strong collaboration with the rehab team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP License.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and monitor information processing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to a team effort.
