Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Corning, NY. The role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Minimum qualifications include graduating from an accredited SLP program and current New York SLP licensure. We offer mentorship, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and exams to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support rehabilitation goals.

Education

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum SLP Requirements Include:

• A graduate of an accredited SLP Program

• Current New York State SLP License
