Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and deliver therapeutic plans for patients with speech, voice, swallowing, and language needs. You will perform evaluations, create personalized treatment strategies, and monitor progress within a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, educating patients and families, and coordinating with physicians and allied health colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification (AAC/CPR) per AHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of speech, voice, swallowing, and language.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress and adjust therapy as needed for each patient.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
