Qualifications

• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (if applicable)
• Experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, swallowing and cognitive disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and documentation.
• Provides professional treatment using therapies for speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing and cognitive disorders.
• Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for speech and language disorders.
• Performs patient evaluations and develops treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Collaborates with physicians, therapists and other team members on patient care programs.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries timely.
• Administers speech/language assessments and swallowing evaluations.
• Ensures billing and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and other reimbursements.
• Demonstrates courtesy and respect to patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Maintains compliance with the company Code of Conduct.
