Qualifications

• Ability to administer standardized speech/language assessments.
• Experience planning and documenting treatment plans.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment, planning and documentation.
• Provide professional treatment for rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive disorders.
• Plan activities and provide therapeutic services for speech and language disorders.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and staff on patient treatment programs.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality rehab services and patient advocacy.
