MedCadre in Maine is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing services to patients with diverse conditions in the Kennebunk area. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and active state SLP license.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or required as applicable.
  • Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programs.
  • Recommend appropriate communication strategies and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
