Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Maine is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem opportunity providing home health visits in the Kennebunk area and surrounding towns (Kittery, Wells, Kennebunk).

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, educate clients and families, and document care using a tablet in patients' homes. Prior home care experience is a plus but not required, licensure in Maine is necessary.

Qualifications

• Maine licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification or equivalent educational pathway.
• Education/work-experience pathway to ASHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic areas.
• Perform evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop, implement, and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and activities for independent living.
• Document observations and interventions in an EMR/tablet.
• Collaborate with BAYADA clinicians within the multidisciplinary care plan.
