Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a permanent position in New Hampshire. You will provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing services, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life.

The role involves evaluating patients, implementing therapy, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while adhering to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and active state SLP license.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or required as applicable.
  • Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programs.
  • Recommend appropriate communication strategies and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current and active state SLP license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
