Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• License and registration as a Speech Pathologist by NYS at time of appointment; and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CF/CCC.
• Experience with evaluation and treatment planning for speech, language, swallow and voice disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech language pathology treatment services in accordance with professional standards.
• Administers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for speech, swallowing and voice disorders.
• Evaluates function and disability; plans remedial programs to improve communication and swallowing.
• Develops and implements therapy to restore or improve communicative effectiveness.
• Conducts instrumental assessments and maintains accurate patient records in EMR.
• Collaborates with Medical Director, physicians and staff to integrate treatment into total care plans.
