Job summary

Erie 1 BOCES is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech and language services to students with disabilities across a variety of educational settings. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and student success.

The ideal candidate will hold New York State Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities; CFY candidates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities.
• CFY candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services for students with disabilities in various settings.
• Assess and support students for placement, progress monitoring, and reevaluation.
• Write evaluation reports and read/write/monitor IEPs.
• Maintain session notes for Medicaid billing.
• Provide services under direction of teachers and participate in meetings and professional development.
• Communicate with families and school personnel about student progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional growth and development.
• Other duties as assigned; assignment subject to change.
