Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Pueblo, CO is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based roles. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, you'll support K-12 students to strengthen articulation, language and social communication skills in a classroom setting.

This role welcomes both experienced SLPAs and those transitioning into the school setting, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and W-2 employment with liability insurance included.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility)
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's in SLP Assistant program or related field
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy under supervision of an SLP
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
• Implement therapy plans developed by supervising SLP
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
• Prepare therapy materials and support student engagement
• Participate in team meetings and maintain school documentation

What We're Looking For
