Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Pueblo, CO. You will support K–12 students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, helping students strengthen communication skills in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license or eligibility.
• Colorado CDE authorization preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support K–12 students by providing speech-language services under supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with assessments, data collection, and treatment planning as directed by supervising SLP.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes in student records.
• Coordinate travel between sites and participate in supervision/mentorship.
