Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants for school-based positions near Peyton, CO. You will support K–12 students under supervision of a licensed SLP, helping develop articulation, language, and social communication skills in the classroom setting.

Both experienced SLPAs and newcomers are welcome. We offer competitive pay up to $45/hour, W-2 employment, comprehensive benefits, licensure reimbursement, and mentorship from seasoned SLPs.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under supervision of an SLPS.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by supervising SLP.
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement.
