Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants to support K-12 students under the supervision of licensed SLPs in Aurora, CO. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position offers a consistent school-year schedule and competitive pay up to $45/hour.

You will contribute to student progress, gather data, and collaborate with classroom teams. Ideal candidates include those with active CO SLPA licensure and strong communication skills, with or without prior school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements.
