A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech services within educational settings in the New Oxford, PA area. This role supports multiple students across three classrooms, including two Autistic Support classrooms and one Learning Support classroom, totaling 56 students.
The position requires delivering speech therapy to students at various locations, including York Tech and High Roads of Southern York. Services are needed immediately and extend through the end of May 2027. Flexibility in service delivery includes onsite speech-language pathologists (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), with clinical fellows (CFs) considered if supervision arrangements are met. Teletherapy is also acceptable when paired with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), as the school district requires virtual SLPs to work alongside an assistant.
Primary responsibilities involve assessing, planning, and implementing speech-language interventions tailored to the needs of students in special education classrooms. Collaboration with educational staff and tracking student progress are integral to this role.
