Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Wilmington, NC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract to support elementary students across two nearby school locations starting as soon as possible.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide direct and consultative therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families while maintaining compliant records and supporting student growth.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current SLP-CCC certification (ASHA).
  • Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between two school sites daily.
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
