Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a weekend Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on evaluating residents, developing tailored therapy plans, and tracking progress to improve outcomes.

We provide mentorship and clinical support, with opportunities for new grads, career growth, and flexible schedules. Evening and weekend hours are available to accommodate residents’ needs and staff collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP License.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to a team effort.
