Position Highlights
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Weekdays (some weekends/holidays may be required)

  • Employment Type: Direct hire or 13-week travel contract

  • Location: Williamsville, NY (Greater Buffalo Area)

  • Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

  • Salary Range: $61,000–$91,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

  • Relocation Assistance: Available

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language screenings and in-depth evaluations for residents

  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized therapy plans based on physician orders

  • Coordinate audiometric testing and make appropriate referrals to audiologists

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and attend care planning meetings

  • Educate facility staff through in-service training and ensure safety standards

  • Uphold residents’ rights and deliver compassionate, respectful care

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program enhancements

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

  • Active New York State SLP license (required)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a team-first mindset

  • Ability to meet NY State Department of Health and facility credentialing standards
