Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in the Greater Olympia area. The caseload is located at one site, primarily pre-K through 12, with responsibilities spanning assessment, diagnosis, and therapy planning.

The role requires current WA SLP licensure, CPR/BLS, and compliance with state/contract requirements. It offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with in-person setting and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to inform diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and related disorders.
• Provide counseling to individuals and families regarding communication disorders.
• Train and integrate assistive technologies to support communication.
• Screen for risk of speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures.

Overview

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $85/hour+ for qualified SLPs
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures
