Job summary

Ro Health is hiring an SLP to work in a school setting serving the Greater East Palo Alto area. The position is in-person, typically Monday through Friday, supporting pre-k through 12th grade students.

Compensation starts at $73/hour+ for qualified SLPs, with ASAP start and ongoing assignment opportunities. The role requires CA licensure, CPR/BLS, and compliance with state and contract-specific requirements, with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals for each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders across ages.
• Offer counseling and support to individuals and families, addressing emotional and social aspects.
• Train and integrate assistive technologies to enhance communication and daily living.
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk and implement preventive measures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications

• Relevant SLP experience
