Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team serving the Greater Upper Darby area. The caseload covers primarily pre-k through 12 at one site, with assessments, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with families.

You will conduct assessments, develop goals, provide therapy for articulation, language delays, and fluency, and utilize assistive technologies as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (PA) required.
• Experience with pediatric populations and school-based therapy.
• Familiarity with standard assessment tools and IEP development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, language delays, and fluency disorders.
• Counsel families and integrate assistive technologies as needed.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to monitor progress.

Overview

• Setting: in-person, school
• Schedule: M - F
• $80/hour+ for qualified SLPs
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current PA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
