Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in the Greater Kent area. The caseload is primarily at one site, servicing pre-k through 12 students, with responsibilities including assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $80/hour+ for qualified SLPs, with start dates ASAP and a schedule from Monday to Friday. Ro Health provides comprehensive benefits and ongoing administrative and clinical support

Qualifications

• Current WA state SLP license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Relevant SLP experience.
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, and language delays.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders.
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living.
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures.
